So. In Mendoza, there are cloud days, there are sun days and then there are zonda days in which the weather properties of the former two get annihilated by the strength of this hot winter wind. This was a sun day... with beautiful rays of sunshine as far as the eye could see, but the zonda winds blew in dust clouds from the West and these ate up all the pretty cumulus clouds that had been decorating my formerly beautiful sky. I watched. It was sad. And surprisingly fascinating.
