Easter Sunrise

The beach at low tide

Series of storms, rain and strong winds caused an abnormally low tide about 3 weeks ago. I ventured out to explore.

and would ya look at that! I've actually gotten a wee bit of color on me :)

The waves have been so intense the past few weeks that the grounds crew at VIP have resorted to augmenting the sand and rocks at the barrier wall

jellyfish!

these posts are usually under approx 2 feet of sand

the strip of debris and concrete
How much of this beach ws man-made? Not sure but these low tides and the formation of the shelf here make me wonder

these guys are usually out in the morning during cooler weather, but this guy looked to be just relaxing on a Saturday.
